To maintain public trust and confidence, it is necessary that officers and employees with Monument Police Department meet the highest ethical standards of the law enforcement profession. It shall therefore be the policy of the Monument Police Department to encourage any person with a complaint or concern related to the actions of our employees to freely share their thoughts. Please submit your concerns and complaints here and they will automatically be routed to Command Staff for review and assignment.The Monument Police Department takes seriously all complaints regarding the service provided by the Department and the conduct of its members. It is also the policy of this department to ensure that the community can report misconduct without concern for reprisal or retaliation. Per MPD Policy, compaints or allegations of misconduct or complaints will be fully investigated and should be completed within 60 days of receipt, with exceptions granted by the Chief of Police.
