OVERNIGHT PARKING: Village Ordinance 23-68 prohibits parking on all Village streets between the hours of 2am and 6am. There are signs displaying this restriction at all roadway entrances into the Village. Village Ordinances also prohibit parking on streets for 24 hours after 2" or more of snow falls. However, recognizing there are special circumstances that occur from time to time, permission can be obtained from the Police Department for overnight street parking. Please call (847) 362-8310 for permission, or click below to submit an online request. *Please note - you are limited to three (3) consecutive days at a time; and a total of nine (9) days per calendar year. VACATION WATCHES: The Police Department is pleased to provide extra patrol and physical checks of your residence when you are out of town. To request a Vacation Watch, please stop by the Police Department at least 1 business day before you leave to complete the form, or submit your request using our on-line form. Upon returning home, please contact us at (847) 362-8310 and let our Communications Center know you've returned so our Officers are aware.
