Provide us the details of your vehicle and the location it will be parked over night. We will add your request to our database to ensure a ticket is not given.

Vacation Watch
Provide us the details of your property and the date ranges you will be gone. Once added to our database, your property will be added to our list of vacation watches for officers to check on (time-permitting).
Citizen Reporting
Provide us with details of incidents that do not require an immediate police response. We will review the details and act accordingly.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING PRIOR TO SUBMITTING YOUR REQUEST - 

Ordinance Chapter 79: Parking Scehdule I - On-street parking is prohibited at all time in the Willows of Greenwood subdivision. 

Ordinance Chapter 79: Parking Schedule II - Overnight on-street Parking Prohibited - Between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. 

PARKING: However, recognizing there are special circumstances that occur from time to time, permission can be obtained from the Police Department for on-street parking. Please click the above link to submit an online request or if you are not able to submit the request on-line call (847) 270-9111 to obtain permission. The vehicle information, including a correct license plate, must be entered accurately for the permission to be valid. Improperly documented vehicles may be cited.  Citations issued between 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. will not be voided if the citation is issued prior to the time parking permission was requested. All vehicles receiving overnight parking permission MUST otherwise be parked legally. (i.e. not in violation of posted signs, fire hydrants, etc.) Oversize vehicles such as RV’s, commercial vehicles, and trailers must call 847-270-9111 to obtain permission. Requests for parking permission in excess of four (4) days per month or for other questions, please call 847-270-9111.

Reminder: It is always illegal to park over the sidewalk. No vehicles are permitted to park on streets or roadways within the Village at any time within 12 hours after a snowfall of two inches or more. 

VACATION WATCHES: The Police Department will make every effort to check your residence while you are away. Please take all necessary precautions to safeguard your home and enlist the assistance of friends and neighbors to check on your property in your absence.  By submitting a vacation watch request to the Round Lake Park Police Department, you release and indemnify the Village of Round Lake Park and the Village of Round Lake Park Police Department from all claims or liability that may arise with this request. Additionally, you acknowledge the vacation watch is provided as a courtesy to Village residents.
