Over Night Parking

Provide us the details of your vehicle and the location it will be parked over night. We will add your request to our database to ensure a ticket is not given.

Vacation Watch
Provide us the details of your property and the date ranges you will be gone. Once added to our database, your property will be added to our list of vacation watches for officers to check on (time-permitting).
Pet Management
Provide us the details of your pet. Once added to our database, your pet information will be available to the police department in case of lost or stolen.

Parking on Village of Wheeling streets is prohibited between the hours of 2:00 A.M. and 6:00 A.M. or anytime there is two or more inches of snow. If residents need to park a vehicle overnight, they must contact the Wheeling Police Department by phone at (847)459-2632 or submit your request using this online system. Requests must be received prior to 2:00 A.M. and any requests made after 2:00 A.M. may be subject to a parking citation. Each household is limited to a maximum of three (3) consecutive nights and a total of five (5) nights within a calendar month. For any special requests and/or requests beyond the limit, residents can contact the Wheeling Police Department at (847)459-2632. Permission will not be granted for any type of recreational vehicle/ trailers or commercial vehicles.
