There are many ways to contact the City of Oxford Police Department.
Our Chief of police works closely with our Police Community Review & Relations Commission to review public input and respond appropriately.
Police Feedback Form. For quick comments, either positive or negative, we recommend that you use the feedback forms on this page. These are simple forms, that allow submissions to be anonymous. Comments are reviewed and responded to if the submitter provides follow-up contact information. Otherwise, the record is reviewed and addressed internally by staff.
Formal Complaints. For more serious concerns, individuals may file a formal complaint. This process is more involved and results in a full investigation of the police officer.
Police Community Review & Relations Commission: This commission is appointed by City Council to help our community provide the best service by our Police Department. They advocate for necessary changes and make recommendations to City Council as needed. Individuals may contact this Commission at any time with thoughts or opinions.
