The Tega Cay Police Department values transparency, accountability, and community trust.  Individuals wishing to file a complaint against an officer are requested to provide detailed, factual, and truthful information to enable a complete and unbiased investigation.  Complaints are treated seriously, and if warranted, the department may initiate internal investigations, administrative inquiries, and disciplinary or corrective actions consistent with departmental policies and legal standards.  The department strictly prohibits retaliation against any complainant or witness involved in the complaint process.
